The Babies

So the first pictures for the blog and they aren't even of us.... but we would rather you look at our cute niece and nephew!!!!  Wouldn't you?!?!  Andrew is Kristina and Kevin's little boy.  He just turned one a few days ago.  He has just learned to walk. He's fluent in the language of ice-cream (thank you aunty Jess).  he's just a little man.  Then we have Jocelyn, 2, who is preparing to be a big sister.  She has the biggest personality you could ever ask for, but beware, she'll only talk to you on the phone if you are a Disney character.. or if you are aunty Babes and in the middle of a prayer!  Oh they melt my heart with dearness!  Being an aunt is such a funny thing, you don't think you can love your own kids nearly as much as you love the little ones, so you just decide not to have any kids of your own!

"We Don't Say Stupid and We Don't Say Boston"

I am cast-free and ready to par-ty! The Doctor officially told me that I no longer needed my cast, though I haven't been wearing it for almost a month now. Anyway, it was still good to hear! that's one problem out of the way... and here is another!
Scott got offered an internship!!!! a few actually! We were super excited when the offer came from Walnut Creek. Right close to home, with the family, with Jocelyn, things didn't look like they could get any better... until another call came. "Hi Scott, it's Boston, want to come over?"

Initial Reaction - that's disgusting... Red Socks!

Initial Reaction (Part 2) - holy cow, that's amazing, baseball all summer!

Initial Reaction (Part 3) - that's disgusting... the Red Socks!

Obviously we had some real decisions to make. As I thought about my love and eternal devotion to the Mets, I had to follow that love and devotion to the root, the root of baseball. If all New York became bankrupt and had to get rid of the Mets (yeah right) what would I do? I would cry, I would write letters, maybe a few hate mails would get sent with my name on them, but I would never boycott the sport. Never. Just as my fifth grade T-Shirt said: "Baseball is life, the rest is just  details".
Boston here we come. Get ready Green Monster, you can't stop me!
